Fun Facts regarding "Cruel Angel's Thesis" (5/13/11):

* This song is the opening theme for the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion." That
makes this a VERY old song, and as such, it has been charted into the dirt by
every stepartist imaginable. I decided I'd take my own crack at it, and so
here it is - old song with shiny new graphics and charts. Besides, its age
basically makes it a staple song any anime stepartist is expected to chart,
so how my pack has gone this long without it is a now-fixed mystery.

* This entire simfile - graphics, charts and all - was done start to finish in
  one really long sitting.

* The beginning slowdown of the song is 80 BPM. Savvy players will note that
this is *not* half the main BPM (half the main BPM would've been 64.425),
which I discovered when I checked Osu for all its BPM information.
If you look carefully, paying attention *only* to the melody at that point,
you'll discover it is technically correct, and that it is Yoko who is
singing off-beat (which is why the purple arrows on Expert). For the
sake of argument, I tried charting the beginning at 64.425 and actually had
a harder, more frustrating time with it, so I stuck with the correct 80 BPM.

* As we all know, I am pro-modernization, and like to give old songs a new
outlook; this simfile has some rolls, as well as a very few mines on Expert.

* Expert also features a triple stomp for the trumpet hit in the chorus, and
a hand for the whip-crack sound.

* Hard is a lot of fun, and was made with old-school chart lovers in mind.

* Medium is kinda tricky, but that's what makes it a 6.

* Medium and Easy both sport some long holds with the other foot alternating
  on other arrows.
